Mahogany
The name mahogany is used when referring to numerous varieties of dark-coloured hardwood.Today, all species of Swietenia are listed by CITES, and are therefore protected. Mahogany is the national tree of Dominican Republic and Belize.The most appreciated Mahogany trees come from Tropical Africa, Mexico and Cuba.
The Mahogany we use is imported from Africa and is considered by many, to be the king of woods because of the beauty of its fine ribbons grain and the ability to achieve a lustrous, high-quality finish with exceptional characteristics.
